Here's a mindset process you can use when you are preparing to write copy, create an audio or video message, make a posting on a social networking site, or design an entire marketing campaign. When you follow these steps before you start, you will be in the right frame of mind, and the right "soul place" so that you resonate with your perfect customers, the ones who benefit the most from your products, and who value you the most. 1. Prepare. Sit quietly with your feet flat on the floor and your hands loosely in your lap, palms up. Take a few deep breaths, breathing in deeply and breathing out slowly, to clear your mind and your emotions. 2. Remember the absolute most favorite customer you have ever had. Think of all the things you appreciate about this customer. Think of the ways you benefited this customer. 3. Imagine a customer who would be even better than that. For example... Imagine whatever else makes this person an absolute perfect customer. 4. Feel your "heart and soul connection" with your absolute perfect customer. 5. Set your intention that all that you create serves this person's highest good, and resonates to attract this perfect person into your circle of customers. 6. Visualize your marketing messages soaring outward, seeking and finding your perfect customers. Visualize those people enjoying their contact with you, feeling the alignment between you, and choosing to move into your circle of perfect clients. 7. Close and shift gears. Say to yourself, "Thank you. This or something better is now on its way into my life." Relax, smile, take a few more deep breaths, and carry on with whatever is your next marketing task. It will be infused with the voice and energy of your authentic soul. The eighth step is two-fold, and continues in the days, weeks and months after this exercise.
